The Lithuanian competition authority Konkurencijos taryba is listed among the most professional competition authorities in the world. Its mission is to ensure effective competition for the benefit of consumers. The main activities include: investigations of anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominance and prohibited actions of retailers, which have significant market power, towards suppliers; supervision of mergers and public entities; coordination of the implementation of the EU state aid rules in Lithuania; evaluation of draft legal acts.
