Green Genius is an international developer of renewable energy projects, operating in eight European markets. Sustainability is central to our mission. We actively contribute to reducing CO2 emissions and promoting the circular economy by developing, building, and managing solar PV, wind, biogas/biomethane, energy storage, and hydrogen assets. To this day, Green Genius has successfully implemented more than 540 MW of renewable energy projects and has a project pipeline exceeding 2.7 GW. We are looking for a Financial Controller to contribute to the company’s well being and growth story.

Functions and Responsibilities

• Participation in quarterly and yearly consolidation process.
• Preparation of quarterly and yearly consolidated financial statements.
• Coordination of external audit process.
• Actively working with outsourced accounting of subsidiaries in other countries as Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Poland, Romania, Latvia with monthly, quarterly and yearly closings.
• Solving complex questions related to accounting and financial reporting with support from manager.
• Participation in budgeting process.
• Actively working with outsourced consultants or internal financial models regarding transfer pricing.
• Coordination of tax questions (CIT, VAT, WHT, Real estate tax) in different jurisdictions with support from external tax consultants and manager.
• Analysis of business results, identification of main causes of discrepancies and valuable insights for improvement.
• Participation in finance projects related to improvement of processes and cost savings.
• Participation in finance projects related to financing, M&A.
