Our client is one of the leading trading companies in the Baltic region, specializing in food ingredients. The company is expanding its operations and is looking for a Business Development Manager. • University degree in Food Technology or a related discipline; • Proven experience in procurement, sales, or business development (preferably within the food industry); • In-depth knowledge of food ingredients, raw materials, and their functional properties; • Analytical mindset with exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities; • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus); • Proactive and results-driven, able to work independently and in a team. Functions and Responsibilities
- Development of new product categories within the food industry segment;
- Identification, evaluation, and negotiation of cooperation terms with suppliers;
- Preparation of commercial proposals and development of business relationships with partners;
- Representation of the company at international trade fairs, business events, and meetings;
- Market and competitor analysis, along with identifying potential clients and new business opportunities.
