Job Description

Become Head of Legal at BLUE EMI, a licensed e-money institution supporting SMEs with tailored financial services. Position Requirements: • Higher degree in Law; • At least 3 years of experience working with regulatory requirements (preferably financial sector, law firms, or FinTech companies); • Proven experience in the payments industry (legal regulation and commercial practices); • Knowledge of financial laws and procedures would be an advantage; • Proactive in identifying organizational needs, a self-starter, with a desire to work in a fast-paced start up environment; • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; • Fluent in Lithuanian and English.

Functions and Responsibilities

• Advice regarding contractual obligations, relationships with partners, etc.;
• Collaborate with internal teams and external parties (regulators, external counsels, public authorities, etc.);
• Draft internal policies, agreements, negotiate with partners;
• Ensure, that the company complies with laws and guidelines related to our business;
• Establish and maintain internal legal processes and procedures.
