Job Description

We are seeking a Head of Business Development to drive hands-on commercial growth. This is not a role for someone who only wants to manage. For the first 1-2 years, you will be fully immersed in direct sales activities, especially within the Lithuanian market. Your primary mission: build stronger commercial relationships with our top 30 Lithuanian clients and convert the remaining untapped potential. You’ll work closely with our founder (who currently leads many of these conversations himself) and gradually take over ownership of key accounts, new prospects, and team leadership.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Hands-on Business Development: personally identify and develop commercial opportunities among Lithuanian clients, including ~30 top accounts and 20+ new prospects.
  • Client-Centric Approach: visit companies across Lithuania, attend logistics exhibitions and conferences, and actively build relationships with decision-makers.
  • Account Expansion: deepen cooperation with existing clients, ensure they are using Bunasta for more services, more regions, and higher cargo volume.
  • Segment Activation: target high-potential flows such as spirit transport from Ukraine or military and high-value equipment requiring sensitive clearance.
  • Sales Leadership: over time, start leading and developing a team of sales reps, setting KPIs, restructuring roles, and mentoring new hires.
  • Performance Management: ensure that business development initiatives are active, accountable, and effective by tracking sales progress, maintaining up-to-date CRM records, and following consistent weekly routines.
