We expect you to have: Strong experience with dbt; Good Python knowledge; Hands-on experience with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools. Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have: Knowledge how to work with CI/CD systems such as Gitlab; Google Cloud & Cloud Data Warehouse knowledge a big plus; Specifically: Big Query/Snowflake and integration with dbt. Terraform knowledge is also highly desirable.
Functions and Responsibilities
- Proficiency in designing evolvable data models for business users: designing a semantic model in collaboration with data analysts, data scientists, and business users
- Integrate data from various sources (APIs, databases, third-party systems)
- Develop and implement ETL/ELT processes using modern data processing tools (Cloud Composer/Airflow, Dataflow, etc.), including designing and managing DAGs for workflow orchestration
- Build reliable and efficient data pipelines, processing logic, and data transformations
- Optimize Big Query queries and manage resources to reduce costs and improve performance
- Ensure data quality, availability, and security following best practices.
